Emile transitioned from law into business leadership, serving as CEO of Sanlam Personal Portfolios and later leading strategy and product development for Glacier by Sanlam. He has deep experience in financial services strategy and industry leadership. At SAAD, he oversees legal, compliance, and investment governance, and co-leads strategic initiatives.

Johann built his career in dealmaking at FNB Business, specifically in Leveraged Finance, and also led the Bank’s Western Cape New Business Acquisition team for a season. Since joining SAAD in 2016, he has been instrumental in deal execution and portfolio growth. As CEO, he leads SAAD’s strategic expansion, capital raising efforts, and operational execution

Jurgen began his career at PwC, leading cross-border audits for listed clients across Africa, the UK, and the US, before working as a credit dealmaker funding SME’s. At SAAD, he drives transaction execution, valuation analysis, and assists in post-investment value creation within the private equity team.

Faure began his career in investment research at RE:CM, covering local and global equities before moving into fintech and e-commerce leadership roles at YoYo and Takealot. At SAAD, he leverages his dual experience as an investor and operator to drive portfolio growth and support investee companies at board level.

Lindie gained extensive experience in the UK as Financial Accounting Manager at Alliance Healthcare, a leading European pharmaceutical distributor. She joined SAAD in 2016 and now oversees all financial operations, reporting, and systems integration, ensuring strong financial governance and control across the group.

Before joining SAAD, Carla spent eight years managing finance and bookkeeping for an investment holding company. She now supports SAAD’s finance and administrative operations, ensuring efficient processes, accurate reporting, and a collaborative working environment across the organisation.
